Writing an effective argument for my chosen political party.

WALT: Write an effective argument for our chosen political party.

Is national the best party to vote for? Yes, personally think that national is the best party.
Here are the policies I would vote for ; Transport, Health and Housing. My first policy I will explain is Health...My aim for Health is Giving free visits for children and less money for adults to pay. And having a chance to raise money for the people who need help.

Provide all decile 1 to 4 schools with a nurse
Because when kids get injured at school, they can go to the nurse for some help. Teachers can't really help out with injuries so they would send injured kids to the nurse. Without nurses, parents would complain to their child's teacher or principal about not doing anything to help their injured child. Another important policy is to extend free doctor visits for people under the age of 18.

Some children are weaker than people over the age of 18, so they would need free doctor visits. I think children should be able to visit doctors for free because if people are poor them they could at least save their kids from danger Children should be able to visit doctors for free because if someone that is over 18 visits a doctor it would be over 30 dollars and some people can’t afford it. Another important policy is to Improve coordination between the health and education systems for people with special needs.

So it would be fair enough for the people who desperately need help I think for people under 18 should be able to visit doctors for free and kids under 5 should be able to go to school for free. Lots of people in the world needs help so I think we should have some people to work as helping people that could be a job. Now i wish the future would take my Idea.



                         So, I’ve clearly explain “why” National  is the best party.
Because National helps people so they can have a good life. First I have talked about Transport to provide all decile 1 to 4 schools with a nurse. And secondly I’ve talked about Health to extend free doctor visits for people under the age of 18. And lastly I’ve talked about Housing to Improve coordination between the health and education systems for people with special needs I think the National party is the best decision, since I can’t vote yet because I’m still  young, but If I were you, I would personally choose National.

Koru Games Reflection.

Koru Games Reflection

In the Koru Games the sport I competed in was…Girls football.

Our team lost against all the other schools, except we were tied against honby high.

I found the experience to be defence because its easier for me to do than striker.

In terms of working with Individuals and Groups; my solo level is multistructional because I contribute to the group, even if they're not my friends.

For Teamwork; my solo level is relational because when I talk to the group, I speak appropriately and positively.

Term 2 Book Review.

The elsewhere Chronicles.

This story is about four kids, named Rebecca, Max, Noah and Theo. It started when Rebecca and her foster family went to her grandpa Gabe's funeral untill...she met max, Noah and Theo at the semmetry. Rebecca, Max, Noah and Theo went into grandpa gabe's house where they found something interesting. The four friends discovered a movie projector that took them to another dimension that grandpa gabe created, but on the other side was a dangerous place filled with deadly shadow creatures that something, or someone had created to get Rebecca.


I recommend you to read this comic.

Current Events Term 2, 2017

   
WALT: I can successfully research a current event.

The National Standard that I have been aiming for during this unit of learning is:

Each week we have read a short text about a current event/ topic. We then formed questions based on what we had read.  After this we researched the answers to our questions and finally we gave our opinions on what we had found out. 
Here is some evidence of my learning. 

My Next Step is to continue to  apply the reading and  research skills that I have learned in a variety of other areas.

Term 2 Novel Study

During the novel I had to complete a thinking map which shows that I can classify how the author has shown the theme of the book.

I can identify and evaluate the way writers’ use language and ideas to suit their purpose and I can use my growing wide range of academic and content-specific vocabulary to understand texts.

I have a large vocabulary that is connected to my own knowledge about the world and includes: - academic e.g observe vs watch - subject-specific (specific words about a subject (e.g feline) - technical terms (specialised vocabulary of a particular field.)

In ARTS this term we have been learning to: Drama

  • During this unit of learning we:
  • Described the characteristics of silent performances. 
  • Identified different techniques used in silent performances. 
  • Used these techniques in a variety of different practice situations. 
  • Worked in a small group to put together our own silent performance. 
The most challenging part of this unit of learning was...trying to make everything perfect for every seen.
The two things that I enjoyed the most were:
  1.  Acting with my friends and enjoying it.
  2.  Practiceing it.
The story that my group told silently was when crystal was sleeping and me and warisha gets jealous and try's to steal it.....
Overall I think my group worked well it was all going according to plan but when we filmed it it didn't go so well......

The Elsewhere Chronicles.

The Elsewhere Chronicles.
this is a story about four kids, Rebecca, Noah, Max and Theo discover a passageway into another world, in the abandon house of Granpa Gabe, Rebecca's grand father. The old movie projector in the library opens a passageway to a world of monsters and creatures made of shadows - a place of secrets and dangers set loose when the sun sets. The only weapons to fight them lie in the land of the other side of the shadow door! with Rebecca and Max trapped on  the other side of the passageway, Noah and Theo must rush to their aid.
